Svendborg hydraulik is founded in Svendborg, Denmark.
1989-1992
The company was acquired by JAM in 1989, but following JAM's bankruptcy, Jens Nielsen and two partners acquired the company in 1992, restoring independent ownership.
1990's
The company expands its customer base and develops increasingly advanced hydraulic solutions for maritime and industrial applications.
2005
Additional engineering resources are added, strengthening the company's ability to develop customised systems and solutions.
2006
A management buyout led by Lars Præst, Morten Nielsen and Jeppe Sonne marks a significant milestone in the company's development. Shortly afterwards, Svendborg Hydraulik is renamed SH Group A/S, reflecting a broader strategic vision and increased investment in engineering and system solutions
2010
SH Group designs and delivers its first offshore A-frame, DPL 10113, marking an important step into advanced offshore handling solutions and laying the foundation for future launch and recovery systems.
2012
BWB Partners acquires SH Group, supporting the company's continued growth and international expansion.
2012
SH Group establishes its own automation and electrical engineering department, enabling the development of integrated hydraulic, mechanical and electrical control systems in-house.
2012
SEPRO becomes part of SH Group, adding proven A-frame designs, launch and recovery expertise, and an international customer network that strengthens the company's position within marine handling systems.
2020
SH Defence is established as a dedicated business area, and the invention of the Cube System begins.
2024
Mentha Capital acquires SH Group, supporting the company's next phase of growth and international development.
